Quick Tricorder Purse
I created this Tricorder purse to go along with my Star Trek The Original Series cosplay for MegaCon 2013 with Mike. I quickly used fabrics that I had laying around…such as:
- Two sheets of black felt
- One empty graham cracker box
- Hot Glue
- Left over silvery fabric that I had used on my Jem belt
I literally just cut and covered the whole thing with the felt and then used a reference for cutting out the silver pieces to make it look like it was a tricorder. I think it worked our pretty well 🙂

- Cover the sides of the Graham Cracker box

- Add the second sheet of felt for the back of the box

- Leave enough to make a flap

- Cover the bottom

Because this was an incredibly quick project for me – I literally just stapled together strips of the same felt that I used to cover the outside of the graham cracker box lol. Sometimes things don’t have to be too sophisticated…it just has to work lol.
