Superhero Saturday at Alafaya Library

Superhero Saturday at Alafaya Library

Saturday, May 23rd, we had the pleasure of being asked to attending the kick off to Alafaya Library’s summer program kick off called Superhero Saturday! We gathered, along with our non-profit organization, Guardians of Justice, to be super for the kids, volunteers, parents, and staff that were in attendance at the library for the event. There was everything from coloring to comic books, including the ability to be in your very own super hero movie. Kids could also pull up a good book and have the opportunity to read to a cute therapy dog provided by PAWS to Read. Numerous kids took advantage of face painting that was offered  by getting donned with the tiara of Wonder Woman, web of Spiderman, or the face of Hulk. These kids looked awesome! Mike and I attended as Black Widow and Hawkeye. At every event that I do Black Widow, there is always at least once child that will come up to me and tell me how she is their favorite and will want a picture with just me, followed by a hug. It’s incredibly heartwarming. If you are considering using your costumes for good and want to get involved in our non-profit organization, you can learn more by going to GuardiansOfJustice.org
