Tinkerbell and Friends attend Children’s Cancer event!
In December of 2015, at the BASE Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation Winter Christmas party, we finally debuted our Tinkerbell and her Fairy friends cosplay group. Last year, Mike and I had the ability to visit this party as Black Widow and Hawkeye, you can read that blog post by clicking here. And the year before that, Mike joined as Hawkeye without me, as I didn’t have a hero costume yet…See photos from it here. Never the less, the event every year is one of our most anticipated and this year’s was, by far, the best. We had a total of around 28 characters there for the children, including us 7 fairies.
Tinkerbell and her Fairy Friends
Each fairy above put a lot of effort into their costumes…each set of wings made by themselves, as well as most of the costumes made by hand. I am so proud of our little group that we were able to come together to have all of this available for these children. Not to mention, Tinkerbell and Periwinkle’s wings also light up so that they can be like they were in the movie The Secret of the Wings
